Every published check is reviewed manually. Technology may assist with research and organizing information, but final publication is always a human editorial decision.
How Trooday works

Our verdicts
The available reliable evidence supports the claim.
The claim contains some truth but is missing important context, exaggerates information, or creates a false impression.
Reliable evidence contradicts the claim.
There is currently not enough reliable evidence to determine whether the claim is true or false.
Unverified never means false. It means the evidence available today is not strong enough to decide either way.
Transparency
A verdict on its own asks you to trust us. That is not the goal. Every check shows the evidence considered, whether each item supports or contradicts the claim, and the sources behind it, so you can follow the reasoning rather than accept a label.
Confidence is shown explicitly. When sources disagree or data is still emerging, we say so instead of rounding up to certainty.

We get things wrong sometimes, and we would rather hear about it early.
